Yes, and it's the easiest way to start. We install PrivateCore next to what you already use, without touching it: your current system keeps running. You test on your real data, on the scope you choose (one service, one activity, a typical day), and you only unplug the old system the day you decide to. Keep everything, try alongside, switch when you want. And if you leave, you take your data with you: it stays yours from day one to the last.

You do, from purchase. You buy your Mac Mini (from €1,049) and own it immediately, with no lease and no term. There are two ways to get it: buy it yourself, from Apple (instalments available) or any reseller, or order it from us: we invoice it and deliver it configured. Your data lives on it, at your premises.

One email to contact@privatecore.fr. The software subscription is monthly, no commitment, cancellable anytime. On a Mac Mini, the Mac is yours: you keep it no matter what, with your data on it, so there's nothing to retrieve. Online, we make a full export of your data available to you for 30 days.

Your Mac Mini is covered by Apple's one-year warranty, which you can extend with Apple. Whether you bought it yourself or ordered it from us, repairs go through Apple: PrivateCore adds no hardware warranty of its own. Either way, we restore your data from the encrypted backup you keep at home, and for which you hold the keys.

It is part of the setup, with no separate setup fee. We have ready-made imports for Skello, Combo, Factorial, Silae, Odoo and CSV files; for more exotic cases, we assist you over video call. Online, everything is done remotely. On a Mac Mini, travel outside our service area is quoted separately.

It depends on the option. With the Mac, your data stays on your Mac Mini, which is under your responsibility: we are not a processor under GDPR for data processed at your premises. Online, we host your instance on your behalf: we are then your processor, and the DPA (Data Processing Agreement) we provide covers that hosting, just as it covers support and updates. Data residency: France in both cases, at your premises or on our servers.

Yes, at the same price as hosting at your place: same software, same subscription. Nothing to buy: we set up your instance after you order. It runs on our servers, in France, separate from every other client's, and you reach it through a secure web address on its own subdomain. Your data stays yours: you export it whenever you want, and you can bring your instance home later without losing anything. The Mac Mini remains the option that brings local AI and an NF525 certification-ready till on site, with data that never leaves your walls. One exception: the online mode does not accept health data, so healthcare professionals host on their premises.

A NAS is a network hard drive. PrivateCore is a complete management OS, online or on a Mac Mini at your place: business apps, accounting, scheduling, photos, documents, all integrated and pre-configured, with local AI on the Mac. Where a NAS gives you a shared folder, PrivateCore gives you a turnkey alternative to Google Workspace + Pennylane + Skello + Dropbox.
