Yes, and it's the easiest way to start. We install PrivateCore next to what you already use, without touching it: your current system keeps running. You test on your real data, on the scope you choose (one service, one activity, a typical day), and you only unplug the old system the day you decide to. Keep everything, try alongside, switch when you want. And if you leave, you take your data with you: it stays at home from day one to the last.

You do, from purchase. You buy your Mac Mini (from €949) and own it immediately, with no lease and no term. You can buy it straight from Apple (instalments available) or order it from us with the install. Your data lives on it, at your premises.

One email to [email protected]. The software subscription is monthly, no commitment, cancellable anytime. The Mac is yours (you bought it): you keep it no matter what. Your data stays on your machine, it never leaves for a third-party cloud, so there's nothing to retrieve.

Your Mac Mini is covered by the 2-year Apple manufacturer warranty. If you ordered it from us, we add a 3-year total-failure warranty (PrivateCore): if it fails, we ship a replacement Mac next business day. If you bought it straight from Apple, you go through Apple's warranty, and either way we restore your data from the encrypted backup you keep at home, and for which you hold the keys.

We handle it during installation. For Google Photos, Dropbox, Gmail, Notion, Pennylane, Qonto and the like, we have automated import wizards. For more exotic cases, we assist you over video call. Migration is part of the installation price.

By design. Your data never leaves your Mac Mini, which is under your responsibility. We are not a processor under GDPR for locally processed data. For B2B operations, we provide a DPA (Data Processing Agreement) covering the cases where we intervene (support, updates). Data residency: France, at your premises.

Not today, and never at the expense of your sovereignty. PrivateCore's principle stays self-hosting: your data lives on your Mac Mini, on your premises. We are, however, preparing an optional sovereign cloud, hosted in France, end-to-end encrypted, with keys you keep. Designed for multi-site setups or business continuity, it will always stay optional: never a third-party US cloud, never enabled without your consent. Self-hosting will always remain possible.

A NAS is a network hard drive. PrivateCore is a complete software ecosystem running on a Mac Mini: business apps, local AI, accounting, scheduling, photos, documents : all integrated and pre-configured. Where a NAS gives you a shared folder, PrivateCore gives you a turnkey alternative to Google Workspace + Pennylane + Skello + Dropbox.
