FAQ

What we get asked.

How much battery life for the iPhone till?

An iPhone 15+ lasts a full food-truck service day (8-10h) in continuous Tap to Pay. Recommendation: a MagSafe power bank as backup.

And if I lose the server iPhone mid-service?

The whole flow is encrypted (Stripe Terminal + iOS Keychain). Whoever picks up the iPhone can't charge anything without Face ID. You revoke the device from the console in 30s.

How do I invoice a catering event?

Quote up front via the Quotes & invoicing module (mobile signature), then convert to a Factur-X invoice as it unfolds. You don't re-enter anything.

Does the Mac Mini stay at the depot or travel with me?

It stays at the depot (stable power, fibre Internet). The iPhone and iPad serve on the move and sync when they find the network again.

Compatible with markets / fairs / festivals?

Yes : that's the target use case. An "event" mode groups sales per occurrence, produces a dedicated Z, and posts to a dedicated accounting journal.

The network drops mid card payment: do I lose the sale?

No. The step-by-step tracking shows the exact state of the payment (sent, in progress, validated, failed) and the resync is idempotent: an unconfirmed payment is never counted, a confirmed one is never counted twice. The sale resumes as soon as the network comes back.

Weekly market and a fixed pitch: can I run both on the same till?

Yes. The fixed pitch runs as a regular till session; each market runs in event mode, with its sales grouped, its own Z and its own accounting journal. You then compare revenue pitch by pitch in the analytics.

You keep rolling.
